Can't link many Internet Website
I'm a new user and like the concept of 1Password very much. But on some websites I go through the sequence of setting up a password for a new site. save the info. Later go ack to the link in 1password and it takes me to the home, but asks me for the ID and password. I thought once it was setup and saved 1password would automatically take me right into the site and I would not have to insert the ID and Pswd. I'll look for a response.

Do you have the 1Password extension installed in your web browser? I.e. Do you see this icon in your browser?
Is that how you are saving your logins?

Yes, I see that in the Finder at the top on right side and at the top of each of my Safari browser windows

Okay, great. And if you are on a website that you have a login saved for, and you activate 1Password, what happens?

Sometimes it takes me into the website like it is suppose to. Other times it takes me to the page where the ID and Password inserton points are. I fill them in when I know the ID & Pswd and it works, but I obviously don't remember them all. So now I cannot enter the site. A bit frustrating.

Did you have a chance to review the guide I posted?

Yes, I spent quite a bit of time studying "Using a Saved Login" and I think I understand this. It is the next tutorial, "Changing a saved password", that I am unable to work through. Right in the beginning it states, "Go to the site's "change password form". I am unable to find anything like that, I can Goggle Accounts and go to my account, but there is nothing there on Settings or Profiles or Change Password. Please advise!

Yes, I believe I under stand this tutorial. It is the next one, "Changing a Saved Password" that I am unable to find the place to change a password. I have gone to my University account, but found no place to change the password. Please Advise!

Hi Bill,
The change password page (if available) would have to be provided by the site in question -- in this case your university. This is not a function of 1Password, but of the site itself.
Thanks!
