Extreme slowness with browser extension
I've seen this question in a few other places, but either I didn't follow the steps in those discussions correctly, or the fix didn't work. So, I thought I'd try to get some help.
I'm running a Macbook Air, Yosemite 10.10.1, Google Chrome 39.0.2171.71. I have relatively few browser extensions, and have tried removing them, adding them back one by one, and so on. 1password 5.0.2, Mac App Store version.
In the last couple of weeks or so, I've noticed real slowness in the launching of my 1p browser extension. Let me rephrase, it launches fine, but when I try to type in the password, it takes FOREVER to recognize my keystrokes. It eventually fills them in, and opens. I have a pretty long Master Password, so this is a little annoying. Sometimes a lot annoying.
Everything else seems to be working ok, everything fills in, sync working, etc...
I'd love to find a solution!

I'm sorry you're having trouble with the extension in Chrome! I'm not sure what would cause that, but have you tried installing the latest beta extension to see if it makes a difference? To install the beta extension:
- Open the following link in Chrome: https://agilebits.com/onepassword/extensions
- Click the link for Enable betas (underneath the Install button)
- Click the big green Install button and follow any additional steps
