1Password opens unlocked?

Hi,

I get 'Trial Expired notice in 1Password 5 for Mac' and 1Password opens with all vaults unlocked with offer to purchase license.
I've double-checked that I clicked the 'lock' button after each use.

How does 1Password open vaults automatically without me providing password?
I remember reading that vaults are encrypted and can be only opened with the Master Password.

Some clarification: my question is not about why I get the notice, but how 1Password unlocks vaults automatically without password.

    I'm sorry to hear about the trouble. Does this occur even after a restart of the computer (i.e. The first time you launch 1Password after a reboot)?

    Please let me know.

    No, it only happens when application already running. I doesn't happen after restart or when I quit 1Password.

    I'm not sure I follow then... it'll only happen if 1Password is running? Suddenly it'll just unlock, without you doing anything?
