"I have the Migration from 1PW3.8.22 to 1PW 5.0.2 Blues" in OS 10.10(Not working as it should)
Just migrated from 1PW3 to 5
I am not sure where to begin, but it looks like I have the same number of items in both versions (in dropbox).
When trying to fill some websites nothing happens. I go back to old computer w/ OS 10.6.8 and 1PW 3.8 and it works fine.
Also when on a website for fill in I go to the mini 1PW5 to choose a log in the list of choices are not in alphabetically order like in 1PW3.
There are other issues I am having but I will begin with this issue
Thanks

Hi @RanRan,
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble upgrading 1Password. If you have the correct number of items in the app, it sounds like you're starting off on the right foot!
When trying to fill some websites nothing happens.
Have you uninstalled the 1Password 3 browser extensions and downloaded a fresh set of extensions from our extension download page? If you've already done so, I'll need some more detail on this situation:
- Are there specific websites that are misbehaving?
- How are you using 1Password to fill in these sites?
Also when on a website for fill in I go to the mini 1PW5 to choose a log in the list of choices are not in alphabetically order like in 1PW3.
When you're on a website with a username and password field, 1Password will suggest the Logins that match the URL that you are viewing. These Logins will appear at the top of the list in 1Password mini. The actual list of Logins (under the 'Logins' menu item) should be displayed in alphabetical order.
demo data shownPlease let me know if you are seeing something different. If possible, I'd love to see a screenshot of the difference. To include it in your reply, simply click the document button in the top of the comment field, and select the file you wish to share:
And of course, if you're seeing other issues with 1Password, we'd love to help with that as well!

Hi @RanRan,
Thanks for taking the time to write to us
The Conflicts section was created when a conflict occurred during sync. This usually happens when you edit the same item on two different devices simultaneously.
Do you have the same filling issue in 1Password 3 for Mac? Or can you fill all items when you use 1Password 3 for Mac?
The problem is likely caused by the website having changed since you first created the Login in 1Password. To solve this issue, we may need to manually save the logins that don't fill.
Hope that this helps
Cheers!

Well, the extensions are correct, but things are really odd. I can use some of the login fill-ins but others come blank blank, even though the logins have correct info I wish to fill in the web page. I see many of my log-ins show a "CONFLICT", those seem to fill in OK, its the others that do not work. As you can see the list is not in alpha order. Do you have a phone number I may call for live assistance?
I have been a long time user since almost the beginning with 1PW, it's one of main apps I use heavy every day. But I come from a long history of 1PW3. I do hope I don't struggle too long learning the differences in 1PW5.

Your question,Rad : Do you have the same filling issue in 1Password 3 for Mac? Or can you fill all items when you use 1Password 3 for Mac?
No it works fine in 1PW3. My problems are with 1PW5Regarding "Conflicts" occuring at same time simultaneously: Well that seems improbable, being I am the only one using it.
Also, why are the logins not in alphabetical order?

Hi @RanRan
1Password 3 and 1Password 4/5 are very different right down to how they interact with browsers. Depending on how many Login items have been affected you might find the quickest resolution is to simply try creating a fresh Login item using 1Password 5 using the link Rad supplied and seeing if that resolves the issue. So if most work and it's just a small number it won't feel too onerous. If you're finding it's the opposite it may seem like a less than ideal solution and more of a chore, it very much depends on the ratio.
Your screenshot was removed so I don't know what your view looks like but did Megan's explanation and description not tally with yours? When viewing through the Logins category you should get an extended list in alphabetical order. If you're referring to the small list you see under the search bar when you first open 1Password mini then the ordering of that list is affected by the presence of favourites and how precisely the website URL matches the website field in the Login item. The idea is to give you the most exact results first. Could either of those explain what you're seeing?
