1Password menubar icon is BORING and meaningless
This is feedback... I find the 1Password icon that resides in my desktop menubar and in my browser menubars (Firefox and Safari) to be so small, nondescript and bland that it does NOT convey "1Password" -- it completely lacks the appearance of the Blue ring keyhole design that we have all come to know. It is virtually meaningless -- it looks more like a European road sign than a 1Password app icon. s it impossible or does Apple disallow color in their menubar icons? Other browser extensions come with color. Why not 1Password? I suggest, wherever possible, you use your BLUE ring icon.

Hi @AMCarter3,
Thanks for the feedback! I will pass it along to our team. Though, it is not likely that we will provide a colorful icon since the majority of apps use black/white as it is the standard way to do these icons.

Some Apps use an option in the Settings to show it in colour or B/W

Jasper, why settle for doing it the same way so many others do it? Why not be exceptional? Isn't that what you are aiming to do with all of your products from a business perspective? And it's worth noting that B/W is NOT the standard in browser extension add-ons. Most of the ones I use in Firefox have color icons.

My issue is it's similarity to KnockToUnlock since the redesign. It's made the actual icon practically useless as I almost always spot the wrong one first and click it. Maybe it's my personal failing but as the icons also change order overtime you reboot your mac it has become irritating. Now thinking I'll try to replace the icon file itself - could work?

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! I can certainly pass it all along to our developers. We love having customers who are passionate enough about 1Password to let us know how they feel about details like these!
