All of a sudden under LOGINS the letter P has many entries that begin with "Password for" and then the name of the site. These logins also exist under the proper letter. i.e., Apple under A and Password for Apple under P. Why is it happening and how do I get rid of them?

    Hi @clj949‌

That's very odd to say the least. Can I ask a few questions please.

    1. Do the entries starting with "Password for..." have identical created timestamps at all? are the created and last modified the same?
    2. Using Apple as an example, are the "Apple" and "Password for Apple" entries identical, field for field, including web form details? (visible if you click the show web form details)
    3. Do you sync your vault with any other device?
    4. In 1Password's preferences, switch to the Advanced tab and enable Show Item > Copy UUID menu item. Then for both the "Apple" and "Password for Apple" click on the item and Item > Copy UUID option, pasting it into a blank document. Are the two UUIDs different as I believe they will be?

If they're separate UUIDs then you should be free to delete these but I am curious if we can ascertain how this managed to happen in the first place. Certainly I've never heard of this before.
