Dropbox not updated after change of password
Today I changed a password for a website and 1P correctly asked me if it should update the existing login entry, so I confirmed that. Looking in 1P via the app on my iMac, the correct new password is shown there. Unfortunately, the change is not synced to Dropbox. When I check the keychain file in Dropbox it is still showing the old password. Obviously the change is not propagated to my IOS device now either. In earlier discussions on this subject it was suggested to delete the Dropbox file and have it rebuilt, but that discussion was over a year ago and has been closed. In the meantime I would expect a real solution for an apparently long existing problem, but it looks like the problem is still there,
What can be done about this, apart from the "fix" mentioned above ?

Hi @hadouma,
I'm sorry you're having trouble with Dropbox sync! There are various reasons why something like this might happen, so it's most likely not the same problem as in the old discussion you mentioned, even if the symptoms are similar.
It sounds like you checked 1PasswordAnywhere and found that it still showed the old password. That's very helpful, as it narrows down where the problem is coming from. The next thing I'd like you to do is check the sync settings in 1Password on your Mac:
- Open 1Password on your Mac and go to the menu for 1Password > Preferences.
- Select the Sync tab.
- Make sure Dropbox sync is enabled here, and the .agilekeychain file is the same one you checked on Dropbox.com.
If Dropbox sync is not enabled, that of course is the problem. If it's enabled but syncing with a different .agilekeychain file than the one you checked on Dropbox.com, that would also explain why you didn't see the change (and you would need to change the sync on your iOS device so it syncs with the same keychain file as your Mac).
If everything is ok in the sync preferences, the next thing to do is try adding a new file to the Dropbox folder on your Mac. It could be whatever you'd like - a text file, a picture, or whatever you want. Move or copy a file to your local Dropbox folder and allow it to sync. Then check your account on Dropbox.com again. Does the new file show up there? If not, the problem is that Dropbox isn't working on your Mac in general.
Please let us know how it goes, and if you need more help we'll take it from there. Thanks!
