Using Windows 1Password and NOT syncing with my Mac
Hi!
I love 1Password. Own it for my Mac, my iOS devices, beta test the Mac/iOS side, etc.
I am getting a gaming PC so of course I want my passwords stored securely. I was for awhile using a second vault from the Mac stored in Dropbox and accessing that with a browser, but I want to make sure I am using something with a totally different master password. I am paranoid, I don't mind that. I don't want a key logger on Windows getting access to the majority of my data on the Mac, etc.
Should I set up 1Password and tell it to store in Dropbox but in a totally different folder, like "1Password Windows?"

Your second vault has a completely different master password so your current setup should be fine. If you happen to have set two different master passwords to the same string of characters then simply change the password on the Mac and your done.
Incidentally, use the "Unlock on Secure Desktop" option in Windows to protect against keyloggers.

1Password is so cool the Windows version even found and used my vault on Dropbox that I created with the Mac (I only selectively sync the 1Password Windows folder)
