different versions of 1Password installed
I have 1Password 5.0.2 installed on my Mac, but 1Password mini is version 4.
I've been prompted to uninstall version 4 of 1Password Mini and upgrade it ... but no instructions on how to accomplish this.

Hi @David Ourisman
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with 1Password right now. It sounds to me like you might still have a copy of 1Password 4 kicking around on your machine somewhere. Can you please check in your Applications folder and see if there is more than one 1Password app in there?
If you only have one copy of 1Password on your machine, re-starting your computer should get things back into gear. Let me know if this helps!
(I've removed your email address from your original post - since this is a public forum, we don't recommend sharing that sort of information.)

Having difficulty installing 1p4 after installing 1p5. How can i uninstall it on my macbook?

What exactly do you want to uninstall: 1P4 or 1P5? Whichever it is, just drag the relevant app to the trash (don't use any app cleaner tool because it will try to delete files you need to keep). Empty the trash and then reboot (because Yosemite is a little touchy about having two copies of the app accessible to it).

Hi @cslisk
Stephen_C's post is spot on. To remove any copy of the 1Password application from your machine all you have to do is drag the application to your Trash. Do please heed his warning too, the support files that an app cleaner may try to remove include your vault and you probably don't want to lose that!
If you're still having troubles do please post here with as much detail as you can so we can identify the source of the issue.
