Why Create More Than One Vault

If I am not sharing my vaults with others, is there any reason to ever create more than one vault?

  • Hi @GoodBits,

Sharing isn't the only reason to use multiple vaults... some other examples:

    • Keep your personal information separate from work info.
    • Create an "Archive" vault to stored old logins that you no longer or rarely use.
    • Separate work for clients by creating a different vault for each one.

Whatever works for you though — multiple vaults may or may not be a good fit in your case.

I am thinking about a second vault for my mobile devices that includes only a subset of passwords and, perhaps, an easier master password. (Not sure I want to sync everything to my mobile.)

@touchDown‌ Certainly one use for a secondary vault. It will require the use of Dropbox in that particular scenario, something you may have already known.
