1PW worked flawlessly since 2009, suddenly (Yosemite and 1PW ver 5.0.2) no longer validates safari

1PW has worked flawlessly for me since 2009, suddenly (today) it no longer enters passwords and gives a message that it can't validate the browser (Safari). When you click on details, you are led to a page that says if you are using Chrome ( I do not), do xxx. Otherwise disable the browser validation feature. What the heck has suddenly changed? Why do I have to disable a major feature to make 1PW work with Yosemite and latest version of Safari?

    Hi @Stormylc‌

    Can you confirm what versions of Safari, OS X, and the 1Password extension you're running please. I'm a Safari user myself and I've not been having any troubles.
