HELP: 1password anywhere -> very frustrating

I've read every post.

I've tested ever solution.

One thing I see that is very common to all users: 1password anywhere generally does not work. And to make it work is very very very difficult. Its frustrating. And often impossible.

For such an important app such as 1password, why on earth are we now in 2015 and still do not have a solution? Why is it that 1password is not able to offer a solution to use your passwords when you are NOT at your own pc?

So, we are supposed to generate these 16 character, crazy looking passwords. Then we are away for christmas and it takes us 10 trys and HOURS to insert them into gmail to be able to read out email and wish people Merry Christmas. Is this technology?

After venting, I'd like to get some support: how do I get 1password Anywhere to work? Everytime I click on my 1password.hmtl file in the dropbox folder I get an encryptionblahblahblah.js file not loading. I tried FF, Safari, Chrome. I tried Safari Developer Menu allow local files. I give up. But I need to be able to access my passwords when I travel otherwise it becomes useless.

Any advice? Right now I'm looking strongly at lastpass.

    If I'm trying to access .agilekeychain from a locally stored copy e.g. from my hard drive then all I need to ensure is the Disable Local File Restrictions in the Develop menu in Safari is ticked. To gain access to the 1Password.html file you would then need to right click on the 1Password.agilekeychain and select the Show Package Contents option. For me that's all I need to do.

    For even less effort, if you log into your Dropbox account via your browser and access the 1Password.html through their website you shouldn't need the hassle of worrying about running JavaScript locally (that's the problem).

    How does that relate to what you've been trying? The other possibility is that maybe the JavaScript file is damaged (I believe it's only used by 1PasswordAnywhere). If you can tell us what versions of 1Password you have synced we can see if that's an option.
