Sync. iCloud vs. Dropbox

From my perspective, it doesn't matter which you use as a security issue, so long as you have a strong master password. Your data are protected by the security key it creates and you should be comfortable even posting it in a public place. As a practical matter, it will be uncrackable either way. The same concern and protections apply to the physical security of your local devices.
Others will advocate one service over the other for relative security, though. So stay tuned.

Hi @EAGLSPRGS,
From a security perspective, iCloud Sync and Dropbox Sync are nearly identical. Dropbox Sync uses the AgileKeychain file format where as iCloud Sync uses something that's a little more like our OPVault file format. With OPVault there's a few pieces of metadata that are encrypted that weren't with AgileKeychain, but nothing that compromises your logins. It's not literally the OPVault format though, as iCloud/CloudKit doesn't deal with files, but the code looks a lot more like OPVault code than AgileKeychain.
The big appeal of Dropbox vs iCloud Sync at the moment is the fact that Dropbox Sync can be made to work on secondary vaults where as iCloud can still only be used on the primary vault. I personally use a mix of the two... iCloud for primary, then dropbox for a few secondary vaults. I also share vaults with other people, which iCloud doesn't let me do since it requires that all devices be on the same Apple ID.
I hope this helps.
Rick
