Hi everybody

I couldn´t find the way to reach customer support and make this question to them.

Anyway, I' ve found a problem during a new installation of 1 password
The message sent during the installation was :

"
The system launched an incorrect version of 1Password mini.

Instead of '/Applications/1Password 5.app/Contents/LoginItems' it started '/private/var/folders/4b/yqf06hzn25v10hxdhbjzkg2m0000gn/T/com.apple.mail/com.apple.mail.drag-T0x60000007b640.tmp.fTkYkE/1Password 5.app/Contents/Library/LoginItems'.

Please make sure you have only one copy of 1Password on your Mac"

there was an older installation before the new one but It has been completely removed. (at least, it seems so)

Please could you help me?

Best regards
Juan Carlos

In essence, you need to find the second version of 1P5 and get rid of it because Yosemite gets itself into a muddle if there's more than one version of 1P5 on your Mac (including on any disk attached to your Mac). You clearly do have a second copy somewhere but I'm not good enough with the technical side to help you find out exactly where it is...given that long and slightly odd second path name!

    Hi @JuanCAr‌,

You've found the quickest way to get into contact with the AgileBits team right here. :) As Stephen_C mentions, Yosemite is particular about this issue. Please make sure that you only have 1 copy of 1Password installed on your system. Even if you have a backup of the app (unzipped) on an attached drive (or in the Trash), Yosemite can detect that version instead of the one in your Applications folder.

Have you been able to find any rogue 1Password elements on your system?
