Recovering forgotten MAC master password knowing the IOS one

Hello,

My master password is refused on the MAC. I'm not sure whether I forgot it (despite using it many times per day...) or something wrong happened.
Luckily I have a different master password on my IOS app and I can access my password data.
Is there a way to re-import my vault on MAC using the IOS master password?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    How do you sync your 1P data and what versions of 1P are you using on your Mac and on your iOS device?

    In the absence of that information I'm guessing you could do this on your Mac:

    1. disable sync on your Mac (an important first step);
    2. start over with 1P on your Mac;
    3. re-enable sync on your Mac to get the 1P data from your iOS device.

    You may want to wait until someone from AgileBits staff adds to this thread because, at the moment, that's merely an idea!

    Hi @Benedetto Gorini

    I'm so sorry to hear that you're having trouble with 1Password. Just as a point of interest: your Master Password should always be the same across all devices. If you're using a different password on different devices, then we'll need to confirm that you're actually accessing the same file on all devices. In order to get this sorted out, I'll need to know a little bit more about your 1Password ecosystem:

    • What are the version numbers of 1Password and your operating system for all computers and devices running 1Password?
    • What are you using to keep things in sync?

    The more detail you can provide, the more quickly we'll be able to get you sorted out! :)
