Feature Request - "Easy to type option" and "Easy to type on mobile" in password recipe.
Hi there!
I was wondering if you guys could include an easy to type mode for the password generator recipe list. This would be for those passwords that you have to type in multiple times each day, such as;
- 1password's master password
- your laptop unlock password
- a school or office portal
etc.
This sort of follows the thinking of the Dvorak keyboard, where repeating characters uncomfortable combinations make typing difficult. The generator would create a password that is more like typing a word rather than a complicated password. An example of a one handed password is this:
@2AqxZ is hard to type one handed because the shift key makes it more difficult
fes3F$ is easier because it flows better
A two handed example would be
diun2m#9f which flows well because each character is pressed by alternating hands. Not the best examples, but one that sort of demonstrates the idea.My thinking would be to make an algorithm that would create a password with characters that are close to each other, but not too close, such as repeating characters or ones that are too close or too far away. I can't think of an example for mobile keyboards, but you know how there are some that are really good, and some that are just a pain in the butt. Either way, I hope this makes sense. This isn't a vital feature, but it would be a very welcome one. And, as always, thanks for the great product and support!
[Also, I don't know anything about programming so please excuse my use of the word algorithm. I know that it is similar to the way everyone uses "cloud storage" to mean NAS, but I don't know enough about programming to use a better word lol.]
