Is it possible to restore individual entries from the backup
Here is what I did.
I updated three logins with some new passwords.
I then did some cleanup where I deleted a bunch of folders that I just was not using. During this process it seemed that the entries in the folders also got deleted. I would not have thought that was the way it worked.
The three entries that I updated were not in any folders and so I was able to export, restore, import to get me back to where I was.
Instead of using export import is there a way to restore just single entries from a backup?

Not currently, no—and you can't inspect the contents of a backup either (which you'd need to do to select the entries to restore). Others have requested that sort of thing but I've no idea if, or when, it can be implemented (I don't work for AgileBits but am merely a volunteer here).

Hi @rpm4fsu,
I'm sorry you had trouble with that! As Stephen mentioned, it's not currently possible to restore individual items from a backup.
In the current version, deleting a folder will also delete the items contained in that folder. When that happens, you can find those items in the Trash in the 1Password app, and restore them. Or, before deleting a folder, you can select all of the items in the folder, then right-click on them and choose Remove from Folder.
Sorry for the confusion! Our developers are working on improving this process in the future. If you have more questions about that, please let us know.
