Multiple 1Password accounts for one user
First let me say as a long time user I LOVE 1Password! Keep up the good work.
My challenge is I need to implement password storage for our business - naturally 1Password comes to mind. BUT I am not willing to give up my 1Password. How to accomplish both. The business is primarily MAC based and obviously (I would hope) we would intend to purchase new installs for the business. Also I understand I can change users on the MAC but this is not an acceptable solution.

Hi @dmgood
It sounds like you may be interested in our multiple vaults feature. You can read about that here:
This would enable you to retain your personal vault as your primary vault, but then have one or more vaults (that may or may not be shared with colleagues) for business.
:)
Thanks!

Ben,
So I set up a second vault as you suggested - BUT it looks like that one does not sync AND the master password must be entered to get to it. Neither is acceptable for a business situation.
Anything else?

You do have to set up syncing separately for each vault. That might explain why you aren't seeing it sync. And, I am certain that you can open the secondary vault with its own master password without opening the primary vault. But the reverse isn't true: if you open the primary vault, you will also have access to the secondary vault. But that does sound like it wouldn't be a problem for you.
You also should be able to share the secondary vault by itself through Dropbox, but I'm not quite sure how people do that. I think you store the secondary vault in its own separate Dropbox folder and then share that folder.

Yep - figured it out now knowing it was possible - both procedures are a bit round about but do work! Thanks

Hi @dmgood
If you have any questions regarding secondary vaults (or anything really) please do ask
