installing on 2nd mac

I purchased one copy from the Apple store, which is working nicely on one mac laptop and on my iphone. I would like to also install it on a 2nd mac laptop. If I go to download it from the Apple store, it asks me for payment information. I thought that I shouldn't have to pay for a 2nd install, which I will use with the same account (same Apple ID and same information).

    Look in the Purchases tab on the Mac App Store when you are logged in on the second computer under the same Apple ID as you use originally. You should indeed not have to pay for it again.

    Hi @mlampson‌ Let us know how you get along with hawkmoth's suggestion. Both he and yourself are correct, as long as you're definitely using the same Apple ID on both you shouldn't be charged again.
