I logged into my master account at an airport using the public WIFI. Is this safe?
Do I need to change my master password?

    Hi @marcorosenthal75‌

Your vault is purely on your machine so simply unlocking your vault is nothing to be concerned about. What you might want to consider is if you logged into any sites that don't use https - those you might want to change the passwords to.

Unless of course I'm misunderstanding your question but simply unlocking your vault is nothing to be concerned about.

What you might want to look at is something like Cloak. I recently had the opportunity to test it out and it's pretty neat. You can set your encrypted Wi-Fi as a safe network and others as unsafe. Those that are unsafe it will limit network connections until it's had a chance to automatically connect itself. So far it seems to work and you can trial it for 30 days to see what you think.

Hmmm. Maybe his question was more about WiFi Syncing?

    Hi @Eduardo Martinez

It might have been although @marcorosenthal75‌ 's response suggested we hadn't misunderstood.

Let's say it was regarding the use of Wi-Fi Sync over a public, unencrypted connection. Everything sent by 1Password is encrypted, much like how the .agilekeychain used in Dropbox syncing is encrypted. So while we'd never recommend using an unsecured Wi-Fi connection out of principal you don't have to worry that you've just exposed the entire vault by having it transmitted in plain text over Wi-Fi.
