Print login details with passwords masked?
Exactly as the title says really! I know you can use file / print on a mac to print off the database, but was wondering if I could just print a list of logins with the passwords either not displayed or asterixed out? I'd like to have an easy way to give a list of logins without the passwords just in case, as I understand that anyone using my passwords to login after I've gone would be on shaky legal ground, but want to give the easiest way to pass on all the relationships I have and therefore who to contact. Thanks.

Hi @pob17,
Thanks for writing in. As we're putting more and more of our critical data within 1Password, it's becoming increasingly clear to us that we need to start thinking about how to pass on some of this information to others after we've passed away. It's definitely something that's on our mind. I like your idea. Unfortunately it's not an available feature at the moment. Hopefully we come up with something good to solve these kinds of issues in a future version.

Hi @pob17
Is it just a list of titles you're after? I ask because while everything rickfillion has said is true there will be a way of doing this if we export the vault briefly and perform a couple of actions on it. Just before I start merrily playing away with it though I want to make sure that's all you're after. Basically it'll be a couple of regex actions via a suitable third program to leave you with just what you need. Let me know what you think.

Since this is the Mac version, how about just doing a CSV export, selecting the fields you want exported. Open the resulting CSV an a spreadsheet program, and print.

Good idea @MrC! I think that's basically what @littlebobbytables was getting at too - export from 1Password and edit the exported file before printing. Doing a CSV export would certainly help to keep all the data neat & tidy for printing.
@pob17, I hope these suggestions are helpful. If you need anything else, we're here for you! :)

Nah, @MrC's suggestion is actually far easier than what I had rattling through my head :stuck_out_tongue:

Can't believe I didn't think of the CSV solution! Thanks everyone.
