Reporting a non-functioning login
I was told on Twitter to post this here.
Gyft.com login doesn't work correctly when using the browser extension (either clicking the login name or using the keyboard shortcut). Instead of filling in the login fields, it fills in the registration fields.
Also, I have issues with reddit login. It fills the proper fields, but I get a message that my password is incorrect. I have to copy+paste it from 1Password in order for it to work.

The usual solution to problems like that is to re-create and save the recalcitrant login manually. Have you tried doing that?
I'm assuming for this purpose that you're using either 1P4 or 1P5.

Correct, I am using 1P5. Your suggestion worked for reddit, but not for Gyft.

Hi @tiltowatt ,
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble. If I'm looking at the right log in page here, then Gyft is a tricky one. The problem is that the 'log in' pane isn't a separate page, but a pop-up. So, if you're using 'Go and Fill' (the process where you select a Login item from mini or the main app and allow 1Password to open the URL and fill in your details), then when 1Password opens the page, it will try to fill those details in on the fields that it sees. Unfortunately, the actual 'log in' pane isn't there until you click the 'Log In' button, so 1Password can't fill it.
There are a few options here:
- Go to the site manually, click the 'Log In' button and then use ⌘\ ( Command- \ ) to fill your details
- Poke around and see if the site has an alternate log in page that is a full page, and use that for 1Password's 'Go and Fill' magic.
I know this isn't a perfect answer, but I hope this helps!
