Problem after upgrading to Yosemite + 1P 5.0.2

Machine 1: Mac Mini OSX 10.9.5 w/ 1Password 4.4.2
Machine 2: Macbook Pro OSX 10.10.1 w/ 1Password 5.0.2 ( aka Yosemite )
iPhone 6: iOS 8.1.3 w/ 1Password latest

Since the Yosemite Upgrade and the 1Password 5.0.2 these machines are no longer syncing properly.

I've attempted to debug below:
1. Edit a record on Machine 1 so the record is dated modified Feb 2 2015.
2. Sync using Wi-Fi to iPhone. Works OK. Record is updated correctly on the iPhone.
3. Sync using Wi-Fi from iPhone to Machine 2. Record is overwritten with old password.

Never had a problem with my setup before and I may have lost some passwords here.

Any help/pointers/links/suggestions would be appreciated.

I updated Machine 2 to 1Password 5.1 and still have the same problem whereby the iOS device is overwritten with old data and the sync is not a sync.

I think I am going to wipe the Yosemite install and revert the Macbook Pro to OSX 10.9. It's made a mess of my machine anyway.

    Hi @moc

Sorry for not replying earlier. Can I just ask how certain are you that you're going to wipe Yosemite? We can try working with you to get your current setup working but it would seem a waste of your time if you're definitely thinking you're going to return to Mavericks.

Given it was just the Yosemite machine that was playing up I was going to suggest Starting Over on it, using a backup from your Mac Mini to populate 1Password on the Yosemite machine and see if the issue persists.

If you'd like to try this and would like it detailed in a set of steps let us know. If you're thinking you've had enough of Yosemite for a number of reasons then good luck in returning to Mavericks.

@littlebobbytables thanks for the response. My mid-2010 MBP was a really nice machine running Mavericks. Yosemite may be a good thing on a retina machine but I feel like I've been teleported to Windows Vista Land or something.

1Password was just one of the anomalies so I'm going to do a clean (re)install of Mavericks.

    Hi @moc,

Thanks for letting us know, I hope everything goes well with the switch back to Mavericks! If you need any help with 1Password after you do that, please let us know. :)
