Secondary Vault: can't autosave new login; dropdown does not show secondary vault

The title says it all. I get prompted to save a new login, but when I try to save it to the secondary vault, it won't let me. I have full access to the secondary vault. I can add it from within the application, but not using the browser add-ons.

Also, if that one wasn't easy, why is the create new login (command-N) sometimes available through the menubar and sometimes not?

    Hi @step_hane,

It might be an unrelated issue but does this thread help at all? Possibility to save login info in secondary Vault (safari Plugin) [Resolved]

If that isn't the issue please do let us know. It might be I haven't fully understood what is happening when you say it won't let you so if you could describe exactly where it is failing it might help us with where the fault lies.

That does help. So, here's what's confusing: It's not obvious that I can click on the lock. The drop-down seems to be the place I should be able to choose the vault. I do like the keyboard commands... Why not have alll the vault options in the drop-down? It's confusing.

    Hi @step_hane,

I'm glad to hear that helped! We can certainly try to make that more obvious, I'm sorry you had trouble with it. The drop-down is meant to provide options for the currently selected vault (i.e. save or update login) but I can see how it would make sense to be able to choose the vault from there. I can't promise anything, but I can certainly send your feedback to our developers. Thank you! :)
