1Password Chrome Extension prevents re-authenticating account
In the latest Google Chrome (as seen on OS X), the 1Password helper interrupts the modal for re-authenticating the current Chrome account.
(I triggered this by changing my Google password in another browser.)
I made a video of the error. Basically, it’s a battle of the modals.

Oh, the solution is shown in the background: temporarily disable the 1Password extension :) re-enable after re-authenticating with Google.

@Megan You’re welcome — it was very frustrating before I figured this out — literally it’s the only way to successfully sign in. I never actually invoked 1Password. You may want to work with the Chrome team to solve this problem, as it will happen to some number of users and it’s a real doozy. I’m a programmer and I was almost ready to give up.

Hi @AlexH,
We have an open request in our tracker to find a solution for this. The problem is that they're using a webview that looks to 1Password like you're logging into a website, thus auto-save is being prompted. It doesn't appear that we can blacklist the address in our extension to prevent the auto-save on that specific view either, the extension saw the address of the current tab instead.
The quicker solution is to disable auto-save temporarily, log into Chrome, and re-enable it.
We'll try to find a better solution and also see if we can get Chrome team to help.
Thanks again!
