Safari Hangs in Yosemite
Not sure if this is covered elsewhere, but since upgrade to Safari (OS 10.10.2), my 1P extension causes Safari to take ages to properly open. I have disabled all extensions and put them back in one by one in several permutations but the 1P extension is the culprit. Any other suggestions or is 1P working on this? Unless it can be fixed, I've lost a significant part of the value of this product. Thanks, Chris.

Hi @cigy,
Can you confirm what version of the following you're running please:
- 1Password
- Safari
- 1Password browser extension
I'm running 10.10.2 as well and I haven't noticed any impact in either Safari or my more limited use of Firefox. I don't run many extensions though. My key ones are 1Password (obviously), Ghostery, Key Search and ClickToPlugin. They seem to be all okay with each other and with Safari.
Now you say you've tried several permutations.
- Is the 1Password extension alone enough to cause this?
- Have you tried uninstalling the extension completely, throwing in a reboot of the machine and reinstalling the extension?
Let us know the answers to all of that please and we can continue the troubleshooting process.
