You have said that there is a new version for Mac "1password 5.1 for Mac", when I check for updates in 1password4 v4.4.3 I am told I am up to date.?

    Hi @golfgame,

    Are you running Mavericks by any chance? I ask because 1Password 5 requires Yosemite and was released at the same time as Apple released their new OS. Now if you were running a compatible version of OS X you should be offered the update which is free to all 1Password 4 customers. However, if you are still running Mavericks we didn't want to confuse by having 1Password 4 offer an incompatible update.

    Does that cover your situation?

    Yes, I am running Mavericks

    In that case, the in-app updater won't display the update since it's not compatible with your Mac.
