There is no application set to open the URL... [Resolved]

Hello, I am running 1password on my mac with Alfred integration enabled. I have a lot of logins for various salesforce.com and some of them give me an error that there is no application set to open the url. The same logins fail consistently, but not all SFDC logins fail. And 1P does not seem to remember that every time I want safari to open the URL. Also when I select 'Choose Application' safari is never highlighted as a 'Recommended Application'. Nor are Chrome or Firefox.

I can use the browser extension in all three browsers that I use just fine for the same logins that fail with the Alfred integration.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Hello, @dierdre! Thank you for reporting this issue. I'm sorry for the trouble. Can you please look at two or three examples of sites that fail? Check the item's details in 1Password and see if the "website" field is missing http or https. I was able to reproduce this problem myself, just now: I had a login for https://www.very.co.uk that worked fine with the Alfred integration. When I edited to remove the https://www (so that it was simply very.co.uk), I saw the same error you're seeing.

I have reached out to Alfred's developers to see if they can provide some guidance. In the meantime, editing the item so that it includes http/https should resolve the issue for you.

    I hope that helps!

@Nik Thank you - that was exactly the problem. When I added https://www the 1p shortcut works! Thanks!
