A strong password, is classified by 1Password as a weak one!

Hi MikeT, 1Password 5 now shows the password in question as of average strength (light green), same as what you demonstrated in your answer. Initially it was coded as red, but after I edited and resynced my passwords between computers, it now shows up as light green. So, I'm sorry that I can no longer replicate the problem I complained about. Perhaps -- I'm speculating-- I had not earlier saved an edit, and the program showed it as red; then after saving an edit the color reverted to light green.
But I have another question. The password CLs8xHuH{taMn you say is not a real password. But it was suggested by 1Password 5 for one of my logins. It's not my master password (which is easier for me to remember), instead just one of the passwords in my 1Password 5 database for logging in to another account. So my question is why do you say that the password is not a real password that should be changed?

Hi @rtracy,
What MikeT meant was that if that is a password that you are actually using right now (what he meant by real password) then it is in your best interests to change it on the site where you use it. The reason why is while we don't know the site in question, you have just displayed that password in a publicly accessible forum.
If you find it happening again do please let us know, otherwise your theory as to what happened does sound very plausible.
If you have any more questions or issues don't hesitate to ask
