Feature Request - Vault Passwords as items/objects
Hi!
I think it would be a good idea to have the master passwords (or their underlying keys) that unlock vaults, stored as items/objects in the primary vault.
With this approach, you could also delete these items to make secondary only manually unlockable, if you want to. Or keep the passwords to automatically unlock the secondary vaults.
The big advantage of this solution is, that you have a much finer grained control of your vaults and their items.
For instance, I'm not really comfortable with always auto-unlocking all my bank and credit card information, only when I want to login at reddit. Just imagine, that you would suddenly have to leave your computer and forget to lock 1P.
Nevertheless, this is only my use case, so others might feel different about it. And that's exactly why I'd like such a flexible approach that would still allow the current behavior but also provides the possibility for a more restrict unlocking policy.
What do you think?
Best regards,
Andreas

Hi @ag1,
We have had this request from other users so I will add your vote to the existing feature request. Certainly if we add it I imagine it will be configurable for those that prefer a single password to unlock all their vaults (to keep both parties happy). I can't comment on the request but it will be given consideration and I do understand the desire for such a feature.
