ASUS Router Login
How can I set up 1Pass For Mac to log in to the ASUS wireless router? The URL is router.asus.com which is set to go to 192.168.0.0001. User name is set by ASUS to admin. 1Pass will not automatically save this login. When saved manually using settings, it pops up the logon screen and stops. The Netgear routers also use this setup, and they also fail to logon automatically with 1Pass.

Hi @williewonder,
Is the login page a proper login webpage or is it using basic auth where it brings in a small window over the webpage (but not part of it) asking for login credentials? At the moment we're not compatible with basic auth as there isn't a universal API over the browsers and it isn't part of the actual web page.
If that isn't the case, I don't have an ASUS router myself, can you supply the model so we can look at ASUS's support page for the router in question, it might give us some insight.

I've attached an image of the login window. It is as you described a "floating small window" titled Authorization where the User ID and Password are entered. Based on your comments it may not be supported at this time. Do you know if there are plans for future support?

Hi @williewonder,
Yup, that is a basic auth request which we can't currently handle. We do want to but the issue was a lack of browser API to do so as we can't interact with it like we do a web page. Now I believe maybe Firefox and Chrome may allow this while Safari still has no way. As you can see being browser dependent doesn't help. I can't give an ETA I'm afraid - sorry but we do want to handle them I can say that much.
