I decided after hassling a Dropbox sync with IPhone, IPad and my IMac to cross-over to Wi-Fi Sync and it worked perfectly fine....So my question is can I use the same secret password with my MacAir to Wi-Fi sync with the IMac?

    No, sorry. You cannot currently use wifi sync Mac to Mac. There is a sort of kludge whereby you can sync two Macs using an iOS device as a bridge but it's really not elegant and involves using two wifi secrets—one for each Mac.

    I apologize for the trouble here. As Stephen_C says, it's not currently possible to sync two Macs using Wi-Fi. We recommend setting up Folder Sync to share your data between your Macs. If you have any further questions, please let us know!
