Any idea why I just lost the last 6 months of new data and all my saved secure notes?

    It might be possible to help if you provide some essential information. Please tell us:

    1. what version of 1P you are using on your Mac (go to 1P > About 1Password and tell us exactly what it says there).
    2. (if you sync your 1P data) what version of 1P you use on the other device;
    3. (if you sync your 1P data) how you sync your 1P data.

    It will also help if you tell us the date of the last two automatic 1P backups on your Mac. Go to 1P5 > Preferences > Backups.

    I'm sorry to hear about the problem you're having with 1Password! As Stephen explained, we really need more details in order to figure out what went wrong and hopefully get your data back again. Also, have you tried restoring your data from the latest backup in the 1Password preferences?

    In addition to letting us know the version(s) of 1Password you're using and if/how you sync with other devices, it will be helpful if you can elaborate on exactly what happened right before you noticed your data was missing. For example, did you install an update for 1Password, or upgrade the Mac OS? Did this problem happen right after syncing 1Password with another device? Did you notice the problem in the 1Password browser extension, or the main 1Password app? When was the last time you saw your data still present in 1Password?

    The more you can tell us about the issue and any significant changes you made to 1Password or your Mac before this happened, the better. Thanks!
