1password for Mac and Android
I saw somewhere how to use 1Password with Mac and Android but cannot find it now. Can you tell me were it is or how to do it.
I also noticed that it says 1 license per operating system - why did I need to upgrade (which I did) to see all the passwords on the ipad that are on my Mac? Certain letters were excluded from the side bar so I could not find the entry

The basic version of 1Password for iOS doesn't provide access to all of the categories, as you have discovered. I don't work for AgileBits or have any role in figuring out how to make the "freemium" model work economically. But there have to be desirable features to encourage users to move up to the Pro version. Adding access to all categories is only one them.
Instructions for syncing the Android application are contained in its user guide, here.

Hi @Brigand,
Our licences are indeed per platform so you only purchase the software for those platforms you use. With 1Password 4 for iOS we used to charge for the application. You purchased it in iTunes and then you could use all the features. With 1Password 5 we're experimenting with the freemium model. You get the basics for free just by downloading it but if you love the program and want the features that have been designated as Pro then you need to use the in-app purchase facility.
Each store is widely different, that's why we can have a trial on the Google Play store but not the Apple Stores. Sadly there is no way to have a single unified approach as to exist in each store we have to follow their rules.
Just to let you know, while you may not see all the categories, your entire vault is being synced to your iOS device, just in case you were wondering.
If you have any follow up questions do please ask.
