Sync Conflict

I recently saw the WiFi server option. Very cool.
It obviously uses a central MAC on a WiFi to serve the vault.
When installing this on my iOs devices, it's fine - but does that mean I can't sync my other OS X machines ?

You can't currently use wifi to sync 1P data from one Mac to another. (There is an inelegant, and not recommended, kludge which uses an iOS device as a bridge.)

If you don't want to use something like Dropbox you might consider folder sync to keep the two Macs in sync.

    Hi @agilewombat,

If you prefer to avoid cloud services completely then Folder Sync is the best way forward for keeping multiple Macs in sync. Now when Folder Sync was incorporated it turns out it was originally aimed at use with a pen drive. Now it can be used over a network but syncing becomes an issue and it is messier.

Now if you don't actually mind cloud services such as Dropbox then that is a much easier way forward when you have multiple Macs and iOS devices that you want to remain in sync.

If you have any questions do please ask
