In december, I updated from my old 1Password 4 to the new 1Password 5.
Just recently I noticed the backups "1Password 5" stores for me in my "Application Support" folder (in the User's "Library" folder) are all in the folder called "1Password 4". There is no "1Password 5" folder to be found.
Did I miss a step when I updated from version 4 to 5? Or, is this how version 5 stores its backups (i.e., under the version 4 file folder)?

There is nothing to worry about. AgileBits did not change the folder names on the release of 1P5.

I do have one more question, or perhaps I should say a suggestion from a loyal Canadian user.
I'd like to see Canadian icons/coins/etc. instead of the American ones that now show up on my 1Password 5 windows... so, for instance if I see my bank account window, I'd like to see Cdn coins instead of the US ones I see now. Trivial, I know, but 1Password was a proud Cdn. company in its early years, and I'd like to see that reflected when I use it. :>)
There could be a choice in 1Password's "Preferences", to use either an American or a Canadian version (just like we have with Apple's keyboard preferences: "American English" or "Canadian English" can be specified by user).

Thanks for listening! Love 1Password & use it all the time... and I tell everyone I know how great it is!!! :>)

    Hi @bree,

I know we're working on bringing English (Canada) localisation to 1Password but unfortunately it doesn't extend to images, just strings which we translate and store in something called an .lproj folder. AgileBits is a proud Canadian company it's true although my understanding is a significant majority of the sales come from the US. I believe that's why even Canadians pay in US dollars if they purchase directly from our site.

Now while the default image for the Bank Account item is of a quarter dollar, you can add a custom icon to any item you wish. If you were to find a nice image of Canadian coins you could add it to each Back Account item you have simply by editing the item and dragging and dropping an image file over the existing icon. That way you wouldn't have to wait for such a feature to pop up into 1Password and you can banish the US coins from your sight  I've made use of this feature for helping to distinguish Server and Router items by using images of the actual hardware. I didn't appreciate the difference it makes until I started using it.
