Dropbox Sharing
I currently use 1password on three iMacs, two iPhones, and two iPads. My wife and I each use one desktop, iPhone, and iPad and the other desktop is in my office. 1password is being shared with all the devices mentioned using dropbox and it works well. We have an additional iMac for my mother who lives in a apartment and since I am spending a lot of time with her and have all her passwords stored in dropbox I want to also share the .agilekeychain with her dropbox. She doesn't have the master password to 1password and does not need it. If she, or one of her assistants were to accidentally delete the file off dropbox would this delete the file from all of other devices? If so, how can I recover the data?

Sorry, I meant to say that all of my mothers passwords are stored in 1password. My question is if the agilekeychain file is deleted from my mom's dropbox folder/account and it is shared would that delete the agilekeychain file off my dropbox folder/account?

Hi @JFK,
The short answer is Yes, it would get deleted on all other devices. 1Password will detect this and disconnect every device from Sync. The data is stored both in the AgileKeychain, but also in 1Password's internal database on each device. So even though it'd be annoying, having a user accidentally delete the AgileKeychain file shouldn't cause you to lose any data. You'll just have to re-setup Sync again on all the devices.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks, Rick. A bit of time and frustration may be worth risking (in the unlikely chance our data is deleted) as long as I know there is a way to recover our data. Appreciate your response. JFK

Glad Rick could help @JFK. Just to say, even if 1Password didn't have it's local copy of the vault you would also be covered by Dropbox's Trash where you can undo any deletion in the last 30 days.
The worst possible scenario is some minor conflicts when you re-sync all the copies of 1Password but nothing would be lost as anything 1Password can't by 100% sure of is kept. That's the worst case scenario, assuming you access 1Password on a regular basis on these devices you'd more likely find there would no blips at all.
