As of this morning when I launched 1Password it's totally empty, it still says its syncing to my vault on dropbox and I've tried unsyncing and syncing and it ask if I want to merge and looks like its importing data, but if empty again. If if login in as another user it's fine. Any ideas???

Please tell us what device you're trying to sync with and the version number of 1P on that device.

Please also explain exactly what you mean by this:

If if login in as another user it's fine.

Are you trying to run 1P from multiple user accounts on your Mac?

Hi, It's on an iMac running 10.10.2 and 1password is versions 5.1 (510035).
Yes it's running under 2 users, I always have and it's never been a problem?

Also if I created a new vault and sync it to 1Password.agilekeychain in dropbox it brings in all my passwords, but my primary vault won't

Sorted it. Followed the instructions for starting over and trashed everything and rebooted, launched 1password and it found the dropbox file straight away and is all good again.

    Hi @j4m1eb,

I'm sorry you had to go through that, you certainly shouldn't. I have to say I've not heard of that one before so if it were to happen again we'd be very appreciative if you were to contact us, see if we can better understand what happened.

Obviously it would be much better if it never happened again which is what we'll be hoping is the case

This sounds similar to what I'm dealing with this morning. 1Password Mini is working normally. If I launch 1P from Mini it opens completely empty. There's not even a menu in the sidebar. If I launch it locked, nothing happens when I try to login. No error message, nothing. It just doesn't do anything.

Running 10.10.2 and 1P 5.1. Any suggestions before I start over?

    Hi @bmabray,

So this happened on the morning of the 15th. How would you feel about sending in a diagnostic report, see if we can understand why this has happened.

I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your Mac.

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+ forum@agilebits.com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

Once you've sent the Report a post here with the ticket ID will help us to keep an eye out for it. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
