1Password app closes when I try to use it
I have used the 1Password app for about 2 months and really like it. I just bought the full app ($49.99), but now when I open the app with the password I have used for 2 months the app opens but when I try to use it, it closes and I have to re-enter the password. It is odd. I have tried several times and I can not get the app to stay open and do what it is supposed to do.

Tell us your settings under 1Password 5 > Preferences > Security.

This threw me the first time I came across it but I believe you will find you have two copies of the 1Password application on your machine. One may be in your Downloads folder or if you made use of our trial first before purchasing from Apple's Mac App Store (that would also explain the two copies). Removing the redundant copy will resolve the issue but you probably will need to throw in a reboot too just to be on the safe side. Please note that simply dragging a copy of the 1Password application to the Trash won't cause any risk to your vault as long as you don't use an app cleaner application.
Let us know if that does explain the situation.
