Backup Failed
I have 1password 5 installed. I moved many files and folders related to 1password 4 that I thought I didn't need to the trash. Now I get a "Backup Failed" notification when 1password 5 tries to perform a backup. What files/folders do I need to restore and where do they need to go on my hard drive?
Thanks.

Hi @tomdecamp,
While the version number did increment we didn't alter where 1Password stored all of its support files. So the location for all of 1Password 5's files is the exact same location as 1Password 4.
It sounds like you haven't cleared your Trash since you've done this which at least means the files are recoverable. Now some files/folders were probably recreated on the fly so to best help it would handy to know what you deleted. For example, did you move a
Backups
folder from~/Library/Application Support/1Password 4/
If you did and you can see theBackups
folder just by opening your Trash you can restore it simply by right clicking on it and selecting the Put Back option. That should at least resolve that specific error message as I'm assuming 1Password wasn't expecting the Backups folder to go missing. As to what else to restore, it would really depend on what you removed, I certainly wouldn't want to suggest restoring everything as that might cause more issues.
