Re-installing 1Password

Hi, I'm new to 1Password.

I didn't understand the first window 'Create New Vault'. I thought it was about setting up a vault rather than a master password. So when I was asked for Master Password in next window, I tried creating one and got the error signal.

I entered in the vault name and it worked. But this wasn't what I wanted as a password, I decided to re-install before going any further.

I followed the instructions and dragged the '2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper' folder to the desktop and rebooted. What do I do with the folder now? Should I delete it?

    I'm sorry for any confusion during the setup! But I'm glad you were able to find the steps to start over again.

    The folder you moved to the Desktop contains any data you had entered in 1Password, but it sounds like you hadn't entered anything yet? Assuming it doesn't have any data you need to keep, you can go ahead and delete that folder.

    After following the "Starting Over" steps, opening 1Password should be like the very first time, so it should take you through the setup again. Did that happen as expected? If you need any help with that, please let us know. Thanks!
