Hi!

I was wondering why the promt for my bank's website (https://www.flatex.de/kunden-login.html) doesn't show up and why I can't even add the login manually as described in the knowledge base => The option to do so is simply not there in the plugin.

Thank you!
Holger

    Hi @UserNameTaken ,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your bank's website. Banks do have a reputation for creating unique sign in pages that give 1Password a run for its money. Thanks for including the URL in your original post, that makes it a lot easier for us!

In my testing, I see the same thing as you: 1Password does not pop up and prompt me to save a new Login after I've entered the dummy username and password and clicked the 'Anmelden' button. Now, because I'm using dummy data, I got a log-in failed message. This message showed up in a separate window - does a successful log in open a new window as well?

I was, however, able to save a Login manually by using these steps:

    • Edit the login that you currently have for this website by appending an "Old" to the title - just so you can tell them apart.
    • Visit the site and fill in the fields you want filled. Do NOT click the login button.
    • Click the 1Password extension, and unlock it if necessary
    • Click the gear icon in the corner
    • Select 'Save New Login'
    • Give the entry a unique and identifiable title.
    • Click Save.
    • Revisit the site and see if 1Password fills in the site correctly.

If these steps don't work, I'll need to know a little bit more about your 1Password ecosystem:

    • What is the version number of 1Password that you have installed? (Please include all relevant computers and devices)
    • What is the version number of your operating system (for all computers and devices)?
    • Which browser are you using and what is it’s version number?
    • What is the version number of your browser extension? (This can normally be found in the browser’s preferences, in the ‘extensions’ pane.)

The more detail you can provide, the more quickly we'll be able to get you sorted out! :)
