I'm trying to set up my password. I started on my phone and set up a password. Now I am lost and

On my Mac because it's easier to work with. I thought it would show up on everything but it doesn't. Can someone help me

    I moved your post to the Mac section of the forum, where you are more likely to get help.

    I also think you are likely to get more help if you give some additional information about what you've done exactly, what you expected to happen, and what happened instead. Have you consulted the documentation for Mac and iPhone?

    Hi @lucylockett,

    Now were you assuming the 1Password would seamlessly and automatically sync between your Mac and your iOS device? If you did that could be the source of the confusion. Once enabled, sync is automatic but we leave the decision to sync or not to the user as that's what many of our users wish. Trust me when I say that if we had sync on by default we would receive some very explicit messages.

    I'm going to assume you still have a vault on your iOS device that you can access and want to see on your Mac. Well that's certainly possible. The first thing you would need to do is set up syncing on your iOS device. Here's a link to the iOS sync options. If you purchased 1Password for Mac from Apple's Mac App Store (MAS) then you can choose from all three options. If you purchased 1Password for Mac from us at our Agile Web Store (AWS) you want to ignore the iCloud option. iCloud Sync is only available to apps or applications purchased from one of Apple's stores and we sell 1Password for Mac from two stores.

    Having set up sync on your iOS device you would now want to set up your Mac using our Getting started again on a new computer. If you've already set up a vault on your Mac and it's an empty vault that you can throw away, then our How do I start over with an empty vault? guide will let you return to a point where the Getting started again on a new computer guide can be used.
