Yosemite update prevents 1Password from opening

I recently updated my computer, which caused mini and 1Password to no longer open. After several restarts and failed attempts, I uninstalled 1Password and reinstalled it from the website. It shows up in the dock as if it is open, but I have no access to the software. Any thoughts?

Please try this:

1. Drag the 1P app to the trash (don't use any app cleaner tool, which is likely to try to delete files you need to keep).
2. Empty the trash and reboot.
3. Re-download and re-install 1P.
