Sync issues between two macs - 1password 4 and 1password 5

My work laptop is running 1Password 4 (because my employer is not yet ready for yosemite! grrr) and my home machine is running 1Password 5. I'm using dropbox to sync data. There seems to be some issues with items not being synched between the two machine. I wondered if this is a known issue. Is there is anything obvious I could try? Can I force the sync in some way?

    Hi @cheeseandegg,

    I'm sorry you're having trouble with Dropbox sync! Let's check sync settings on both Macs to make sure everything is ok:

    • Open 1Password and go to the menu for 1Password > Preferences.
    • Click the Sync tab.
    • If the vault is not currently set to sync with Dropbox, follow these steps to set up Dropbox sync.
    • If Dropbox sync is already enabled, check the file path for the .agilekeychain file.

    Remember to check those settings on both Macs. If the problem is that one is syncing with a different keychain file than the other, you'll need to disable the sync, then set it up again and choose the correct keychain file.
