1Password Item in MenuBar

I frequently get the little "gear" icon continuously spinning away, and when I select it, I see at least 1 "1Password_Autosubmit..." item there. The little x is ignored when I click on it.

It seems the only way to cure this is to logout - login

What is going on? Yosemite 10.10.2 and 1Password 5.1 MAS.

Just checked in Activity Monitor and there is no "1Password_autosubmit" processes. Only 1Password Mini.

    Hi @VirgilBoy,

This really kicked up with the release of Yosemite. The odd part is that 1Password_autosubmit is a single line of AppleScript to mimic the pressing of the return key. Genuinely, that's all it is so as you can imagine it's hard to see why it gets stuck like that.

If it drives you nuts though there is a way to stop it happening. This different post will show you what file to move so it can't run any more. Technically it does mean some sites may not submit after filling but I haven't really noticed not having it on my system. It's a personal choice though so don't feel compelled to do this.
