@knittingcrazy I've moved your post from the 1P for iOS forum to the 1P for Mac forum where you'll get more help. However, in order for us to help you please give us more information. Please tell us:
- what version of 1P you are using on your Mac (go to 1P > About 1Password and tell us exactly what it says there);
- what browser you're using and the version number of the 1P extension in the browser (if you can't find that number just tell us the name of the browser and we'll help you find the version number of the 1P extension).
If it's not confidential tell us the URL of the site where 1P won't fill in your password and someone will test it for you.
Edit: I'm just wondering, from the heading of your post, whether you're trying to get 1P to login to your MacBook Pro by inserting the password. Is that what you mean? If so, you won't be able to do that. Let us know and we'll explain more!

Hi @knittingcrazy,
I'm sorry you're having some trouble with 1Password! We'll definitely need to know some more details in order to figure this out, so it will help if you can let us know the information Stephen asked you for. If you need any help to find the version of the main 1Password app, please see these steps. To find the version of the 1Password extension in your web browser, you can follow the steps here.
If you're having trouble filling a login form on a website, it will also help if you can describe the exact steps you take to have the 1Password extension fill your info. Thanks!
