Suggestion: New field for logins: Email address
Hi guys!
I use different e-mail addresses for different logins. E.g. one for the services I really trust, one for those I almost trust and one for those that I don`t trust at all. Because of this I almost always register an e-mail address for my logins in 1Password. Sometimes the username and the e-mail address will be the same, but not always.
However, there is no e-mail address field for logins in 1Password.
Right now I store the e-mail address in the "notes" field, but often there will be other stuff there as well, so it`ll get messy...
Having the e-mail address in its own field would be a lot cleaner and easier to work with.

Thanks a lot Jasper! I was actually not aware of that feature.
Works perfectly!

Oh @sevenam, you're in for a treat if you didn't know about custom fields until today
I do as jasper does as well and use a custom field for the email address when it isn't the same as the username. I went full paranoid though and I use a unique email address for each company I deal with. The idea is when I start getting spam on a particular address I'm going to know where to focus all of my 'comments'. They can be used for so much more and it doesn't just have to be visible text they store either.
Once you've created a new custom field you should see a couple of icons on the far right (see the screenshot below)
If you click on the leftmost one you should get a small menu like this:
Now at the moment we only have two types but even those are handy. With this feature I moved security questions from the notes section into a custom section. The label for the field became the security question and the field was the answer. I could set it to the password type so it was hidden by default and fields can be copied by clicking on them (but not when you're in edit mode). So I can copy and paste the answer to a security question.
In our current beta we've given the types an injection of steroids and it currently looks like this
As you can see, custom fields have the potential to be quite useful. I hope you will enjoy this as much as I'm looking forward to 1Password 5.3
