Is there any way to turn off the spinning gear on the top of my screen. It tells me 1Password autosubmission is running. Moving icons on screens attract my eye and are annoying.

Please see this AgileBits' post and also this AgileBits' post about how specifically to remove the spinning gear. (I thought you might prefer to read the first link first for an explanation of what's happening.)

    Hi @larryw50 ,

Please let me know if you have any further questions after following the links that Stephen posted! :)

Nope. Thanks for the information. I couldn't find the file he mentioned, but I shut my computer down, rebooted, and the moving gear symbol went away. I expect it will come back, but I don't mind rebooting until Apple gets their part of the issue fixed. Thanks again!

Thanks for the update @larryw50. Glad to hear that rebooting made it go away, even if temporarily.

In Finder, if you select the Go menu > Go to Folder... and paste in ~/Library/Application Scripts, do you not see a folder called 2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper? Do you see anything there at all?

You could also try this, from the same discussion thread in @Stephen_C's second link:
open up Terminal (it's in /Applications/Utilities/) and try the following command to locate the file: find . -iname '1Password_Autosubmit.scpt'

Yes, I found the file this time and followed the directions in Stephens post. Thank you very much and a high-five for all this wonderful support!
