I'm sure it's well discussed, but I cannot find the article.

We have multiple business licenses. How about employee's home computers? When employees have to work at home, they need sharing passwords. Can we install it to his or her home computers?

What will happen, If total computer numbers exceed our licenses?

I would like to apologize for the delay in responding to you here but we experienced a surge in support requests recently. We're doing the best we can to get back to our usual speedy replies as soon as possible.

Generally, 1Password licenses are sold on a per-user basis, not per device. So a license owner can install 1Password on as many devices (of the purchased platform) that they use. With business licenses though, it's a little bit different, as the owner of the licenses is the business, and not the individual employee. As the business owner, may want to re-use a license if an employee leaves the company. This would be harder to manage if your employees are also using that license on their home machines. So, it's really up to you. If it's more valuable for you to ensure your employees have access to the shared vault of passwords at home, you can allow them to install 1Password on their home computers.
